Orientation & Information Activities
Below is a list of the informational activities for application. Applications are available at each activity listed below or on this website.
School Tours
Registration is required for a School Tour. Please call the school to register for a tour (510) 526-4744. Tours are from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Please arrive by 8:15 AM to register at the school office. If you wish, you are invited to join us for morning prayer (8:00 AM in the schoolyard).
Information Night with Application Orientation
A panel of school, parent and student representatives share information about and experience at the School of the Madeleine. Call school to register for a tour (510) 526-4744. Gathering is on the ground floor of the school in the Extended Care area.
Middle School (7th & 8th Grade) Information Night
For parents of 4th, 5th & 6th grade Madeleine students, parents of applicants, and anyone interested. You will hear the 7th and 8th grade Madeleine experience from teachers, students and parents. The 7th and 8th grade homeroom teachers will discuss the transition to Junior High, and let you know what to expect during those years. You will hear about academics, community building, stewardship, and preparation for high school. Our Junior High program helps our students feel confident and prepared for their high school years. Take the time to discover how!
Kindergarten Program Orientation
Parents applying to kindergarten are invited to attend one of these sessions that are presented by the kindergarten teachers. There is ample opportunity for questions and inquiries about aspects of the program.
Open House
Teachers will welcome you to their classrooms where the students' work will be displayed. Meet the leadership of the school and the parent organizations. You are welcome to join us at a Catholic Schools Week mass at 9:30 AM
Grades K-8: Student Applicant Evaluation and Visit
Applicants will be notified of the date and time. Students visit the class they are applying for and take the Entrance Test.
